Now the starter and captain at Vanderbilt, Pavia’s journey began at New Mexico Military Institute before transferring to New Mexico State, where he engineered a historic upset over Auburn. Following his offensive coordinator to Vanderbilt, he has helped revive the program, leading the Commodores to a 40–35 win over Alabama and a 7–6 season capped with a bowl victory. Once un-recruited, Pavia now has his sights set on leading Vanderbilt into the College Football Playoff conversation.
